Finance Director

Our client is an established organization seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead its finance function and contribute to the company’s long-term strategic direction. The Role
The Finance Director will provide strategic leadership across all financial operations, including financial planning, reporting, treasury, taxation, risk management, budgeting, and corporate governance. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner while ensuring financial stability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, and investment activities.
- Establish robust financial governance and internal controls.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment evaluations where applicable.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead external audit and regulatory engagements.
- Develop and mentor high-performing finance teams.
- Drive financial transformation and process optimization initiatives.
- Identify commercial opportunities that improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience with executive leadership exposure.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, governance, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated leadership of large finance functions.
- Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong executive presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
